European HIV-Hepatitis Testing Week 2017
Testing week is an initiative that was launched by HIV in Europe in 2013 to help more people to become aware of their HIV status. Now in its fifth year and the third time hepatitis testing has been included, European HIV-Hepatitis Testing Week will take place from 17-24 November 2017.
European HIV-Hepatitis Testing Week offers partners across Europe the opportunity to unite to increase awareness of the benefits of HIV and hepatitis testing among those who are at risk. In 2016, more than 500 organizations from across 53 countries took part in testing week and thousands more people are now aware of their HIV and hepatitis status.
It is possible to get hepatitis from unprotected sex. There is a vaccination against Hepatitis A and B. Men who have sex with are offered Hepatitis A and B vaccination as part of national vaccine program in Finland.

– Oulu 24.11 at 13.00-17.00. Checkpoint testing for men who have sex with men: Hepatitis C and HIV rapid testing. Free, no appointment needed. Address: Kumppanuuskeskus, Kansankatu 53, 1st floor, Oulu.
Vaccination event in Helsinki
– Helsinki 22.11 at 13.00-16.00 and 23.11 at 14.00-17.00. Hepatitis A and B vaccination for men who have sex with men. Free, no appointment needed.
