CHANGES IN HIVPOINT’S SERVICES DURING THE STATE OF EMERGENCY

To prevent the spread of corona virus, Checkpoint/Hivpoint services will have the following changes during the spring.

  • All Hivpoint testing services are cancelled. This includes Checkpoint testing and Express STI Clinic, Walk in testing and testing with appointment. If you have booked an appointment for an HIV test, it has been cancelled too.
  • Hepatitis A and B vaccinations are cancelled.
  • We are not writing PrEP referrals, if you want to ask about PrEP please contact prep(at)hivpoint.fi, call our phone help line or chat with us.
  • All Hivpoint events and trainings scheduled from now until the end of May have been postponed. We will announce the new dates for each event at a later stage.

Instead we are offering additional helpline services during the state of emergency. For now, our chat is open every Wednesday 1pm to 3pm and hivpoint.fi chat is open Monday-Wednesday 10am to 3.30pm and the phone helpline is open as usual Monday-Thursday 10am to 3.30pm. On the chat and phone, you can ask questions about HIV, other sexually transmitted infections and get support and counseling related to these.

We are following the quickly changing situation and will make updates accordingly.
